CS Q-LEAP™ Vibration

Calibration systems for low- to high-frequency measurements

Precise calibration of vibration sensors

Vibration calibration systems allow accelerometers, vibration transducers, seismometers and complete measurement chains to be calibrated and tested with precision. They generate defined mechanical vibrations across a wide frequency range, providing traceable measurement results for use in research and development and in accredited calibration laboratories.

Modern systems combine powerful vibration exciters with precise signal control technology and software for automated data analysis and certificate generation. Thanks to their modular architecture, they can be adapted to different devices under test (DUTs), frequency ranges and calibration procedures.

Discover our vibration calibration systems and find the right solution for testing your sensors and measurement instruments.

Vibration calibration systems: Functions and variations

A vibration calibration system generates defined mechanical vibrations to determine the response characteristics of sensors or measurement instruments. A vibration exciter applies defined accelerations to the test object, while reference sensors or laser vibrometers measure the actual motion. The difference between the reference signal and the test object’s signal forms the basis for calibration.

Systems differ in various ways, including their frequency range, maximum payload, type of shaker and calibration method (for example, primary or secondary calibration). Modern solutions also integrate control technology, database functions and softwarefor automated evaluation and documentation.
