Why do I need accessories to carry out my measurements?
Mechanical accessories are used to establish a defined connection between the shaker and the DUT. Adapters, mounting plates and special cables ensure a stable and repeatable connection and allow for adaptation to different geometries and masses. Using the trunnion, the exciter can be positioned at any angle of inclination to perform a vibration test.
Reaction masses improve the performance of vibration exciters such as the APS 113, particularly at low frequencies. They lower the transition frequency limited by the displacement and allow for higher nominal forces at lower frequencies, while simultaneously reducing the armature speed and the amplifier’s power requirements. This makes them ideal for the efficient excitation of large structures and the performance of resonance tests.
