Application range of portable calibration systems

Mobile calibration systems are essential for checking measurement equipment directly on site, for example in hard-to-reach facilities, during sensitive processes or to avoid downtime. They allow for the efficient verification of accuracy and reliability without the need for disassembly or transportation.

Industrial monitoring

Vibration sensors are used to monitor turbines, pumps and generators. They can be tested directly on site with minimal downtime using portable calibration systems.

Crash tests

Crash tests that involve testing the sensors on-site under real-world conditions ensure accurate results and help to verify their functionality in extreme situations.

Research & Development

These mobile systems are cost-effective, compact and user-friendly, making them ideal for research and development.

Aviation

In ground vibration tests, aircraft structures are deliberately stimulated in order to precisely determine their vibration behavior and compare it with simulation models.

A wide range of applications in a compact design

The CV-10 was specifically designed to simplify your on-site calibration of accelerometers, proximity probes, velocity sensors and many more.

You can test and calibrate vibration meters as well as test beds anywhere, anytime so you can ensure business continuity and reduce downtimes. Moreover, your test results are traceable to national institutes such as the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) or the german PTB.

Clever and future-proof features

In addition to a powerful vibration exciter and many integrated signal conditioners, the mobile calibrator features an extension port for new exciting options. The already available signal conditioner box for piezo-resistive accelerometers will be followed by a programmable power supply for other sensor types and more options.

Data can be exchanged either with a USB stick or simply via Ethernet using the eCal™ CV-10 Manager, which significantly increases efficiency.

Years of experience in calibration loaded in a portable case

Because SPEKTRA is a specialist in the field of sensor calibration, decades of expertise pour into our product development. Individual customer requirements and knowledge gained from practice and experience in our laboratory help us add innovative features on to our products.

For the CV-10, this include a comprehensive range of integrated signal conditioners, simple data exchange and processing, and the choice between a manual mode with presets and an automated mode.

Upgrade with special operating modes

Profile Mode

In Profile Mode, the system automatically runs through a series of measuring points with preset frequencies and amplitudes. The user can select from a list of calibration profiles with different measuring points.

Item No. 1104382

Sweep Mode

In Sweep Mode, the system automatically performs a sweep from a start to a stop frequency at a specified sweep speed. The amplitude, start and stop frequencies, and speed can be preset.

Item No. 1103135

Measurement Mode

The Measurement Mode allows for the measurement of an external sensor that is excited by a separate vibration control system or calibrator. The resulting data can then be used to calibrate the vibration control system or calibrator.

Item No. 1103772
