Why do I need a calibration system for rotation rate?
To ensure the accuracy of gyroscopes, angular velocity sensors or inertial measurement units (IMUs), a rotational rate calibration system is required. For this purpose, a precise rotation exciter, such as the DRE-01, generates defined rotation acceleration, while reference systems and evaluation electronics compare and evaluate the sensor signals.
