30 years of SPEKTRA - looking back and ahead

30 years of innovation, engineering and precision in measurements - all "made in Dresden". This is what we wanted to celebrate in 2024. To mark the occasion, we invited people to an international roadshow that took us to numerous cities around the world. We wanted to showcase our latest developments and technologies in metrology, as well as explore synergies and present research topics in expert talks.

Celebrating successes

At the two anniversary celebrations in September, we celebrated those without whom this milestone would not have been possible. On the one hand, our customers, suppliers and partners, and on the other, our own colleagues who, with a heart for engineering and precision, research, develop, design and improve every day in the service of our customers.

So, our thanks go from our supporters from the very beginning to our valued suppliers and loyal customers, our 100 employees in Dresden, our sales team at APS Dynamics in the USA and our entire partner network in 39 countries worldwide.

Impressions of our events

30 years of SPEKTRA product development

Our credo of being an experienced partner for the entire life cycle of measurement equipment is best demonstrated by our products. Our exciters and systems help our customers optimize their sensors and instrumentation from the prototype stage to the final application.

The following products play a main role:

20 years of experience with our proven CS18 has gone into the development of the new CS Q-LEAP™ - a calibration system for analog and digital sensors that will shape the future of metrology.

The system can be used for functional testing of MEMS structures in development as well as for highly parallel final testing of sensors in mass production. This versatile system is therefore considered an "all-rounder" for testing MEMS sensors.

APS exciters are typically used for modal testing of buildings, bridges and other large structures, fatigue testing and seismic simulations. In the summer of 2023, we celebrated the production of the 500th APS 113 in Dresden, Germany.

Each exciter in the SE-2X series is a true all-rounder for numerous applications. They feature a wide frequency range, high payload, low lateral vibration, and can even be used in a climatic chamber as the T-version.

A heart for metrology

From the very beginning, we have had high standards of quality and precision, which is why we sought official accreditation for our in-house calibration laboratory early on. By participating in various national and international committees and expert panels, as well as in various research projects (with metrological institutes or universities), we are able to contribute our ideas and practical experience. Numerous audits confirm this claim for a constantly growing portfolio of measuring instruments, which are calibrated in Dresden with a DAkkS accredited calibration. With this enthusiasm SPEKTRA LABS will bring our technology to laboratories all over the world.

If you want to be part of the SPEKTRA LABS to discuss the various participation models:

TESTelligence - also for your industry

For us, "TESTelligence" means always finding the right solution for our customers - regardless of whether it is a complex system, a development cooperation or the calibration of measuring equipment.

In this way, we ensure precision in measurement technology worldwide over the entire life cycle and can offer a suitable solution to almost every industry. Condition monitoring, environmental and emissions protection, automotive, crash testing, vehicle monitoring and aerospace are just a few examples.
