In September, experts from around the world gathered at SPEKTRA in Dresden to present current research topics and solutions from international metrology institutes.
Over two days, these experts gave presentations and engaged in lively discussions on various topics from their fields of work, such as (primary) calibration in acceleration and acoustics, laser vibrometers for metrological applications, dynamic calibration of pressure sensors, and much more. The workshop offered participants the opportunity to exchange ideas with other top specialists from industry, research, and business and to improve their international cooperation.
Presentations included:
Measuring dynamic pressure by laser Doppler vibrometry
System concept for calibration of digital sensors
Implementation of seismometer calibration
Vibration calibration beyond 50 kHz
Realization of the primary standard for sound pressure
Low-frequency calibration of dynamic pressure sensors and microphones
