This year, SPEKTRA celebrates two outstanding milestones: our company looks back on 30 successful years and Dr. Uwe Bühn, one of the three visionary founders, celebrates his 90th birthday. These double anniversaries are an occasion for us to pay tribute to Dr. Bühn's impressive life's work and his tireless commitment to SPEKTRA.

The courage to start afresh at 60

At the age of 60, Dr. Uwe Bühn decided to start a new chapter in his professional life together with Dr. Holger Nicklich and Michael Roch. At a time when many would already be retiring, he made the bold decision to found SPEKTRA. It was a step that not only required courage but also the highest level of personal commitment.

Two decades of influential impact

For more than 20 years, Dr. Bühn contributed his extensive experience, knowledge and valuable contacts to the company. His commitment was a key factor in SPEKTRA's growth and success. His ability to overcome challenges and break new ground has been instrumental in making the company what it is today - one of the leading manufacturers of components and systems for testing and calibrating sensors of all kinds.
