Air bearing vibration exciters
for calibration and test systems

The following vibration exciters are electrodynamic air bearing exciters, which are able to provide a mechanical signal with a small distortion and transverse acceleration in the frequency range of 0 Hz up to 50 kHz for calibration and test systems.

Further more you can find the SE-101 RES-HA, a special vibration exciter which provides very high sine acceleration. That exciter enables a connection between the high acceleration of a transient shock calibration and the rather limited acceleration of a conventional vibration calibration.

APS 129

The APS 129 ELECTRO-SEIS® Long Stroke Shaker is an airbearing force generator specifically designed to be used for calibration and evaluation of accelerometers and other motion transducers. It provides excellent properties for low frequency excitation of such devices.

This model has a horizontal air bearing table coupled to the vibration that allows high payloads up to 23 kg (50 lb) e.g. for the calibration of geophones and heavy seismic sensors.
