Vibration Tests

Vibration and shock tests are needed in various application areas - from modal analysis and fatigue testing to quality inspection of prototypes.

By means of appropriate shakers the desired forces are induced into the structure and afterwards the impact is measured and evaluated. Our customers use these results to evaluate their products often very early during the design and development phase to assess and verify that standards or guidelines are followed and how the specimens react to external influences.

For these applications SPEKTRA offers specialized vibration and shock exciters in a wide frequency range – from 0 Hz to 50 kHz with forces up to 900 N as well as shock excitation up to 2,000 km/s2. For example:

  1. High Frequency Exciters SE-09 and SE-11 for measurements up to 50 kHz, as are needed for testing MEMS or small components
  1. APS Long-Stroke exciters for low-frequency tests, as are needed to excite buildings, components of airplanes or other large structures
  1. Hopkinson-Bar High Shock exciters for testings sensors or small components with shock amplitudes up to 2,000 km/s2

Additionally we offer comprehensive services for individual and environmental tests on shakers with a force of up to 11 kN and climatic tests between -70 °C and 180 °C.

We will be happy to assist you in your decision to find a suitable solution for your needs.
